CPOs STRENGTH TO GO UP
What Defence services got after AVS I&II after a great deal of struggle is comming on platter to Indian CPOs/CPMFs.The Govt had taken decision to increase the strength by four lakh of CPOs and state police by six lakh.Well this will give minimum 4000 posts in officer cadre of which at least 800-850 will be in PB-4. This will solve promotional issue of CPOs to a great extent.Moreover in comming years the strength of each CPOs will be as good as 8 to 10 lakhs and mind you it is requirement of nation and not of your or mine. Well happy time of faster promotion is here to stay and various CPOs can now think of reducing time gap between various ranks.

Atleast now we can hope for few more promotions in our service ,we should also fight to get time bound promotions like that in Army at least to commandant as in Army promotion upto Col is timebound.
It seems that a good news has come after years.Fouzis are fighting for PB-4 for LTCols, hope same will also come for Second-in-command,otherwise admin problem will come.

please get ur facts right. it seems u have taken up this blog to spreard misinformation deliberatly. may be u r part of bigger game plan of IAS lobby. if u r intelligent and smart, pl stop spreading misinformation and keep quiet.
Understand chance of LTCols to get PB-4 is now less .It is bad both for CPOs and for Defence.Do any body has correct news for LTCols.

Who said LTCols are not going to get PB-4. It to early to think in negative, have a heart we are going to win.
Why not to bring all officers who were shifted from PB-3 to PB-4 ,back to PB-3.
